All locations of the Fort Smith Public Library will be CLOSED
Storytime @ the Library!
*Each location of the Fort Smith Public Library offers an opportunity for young children and their caregivers to experience an interactive, literacy-based storytime.
Storytimes feature stories, songs, puppetry, finger plays, manipulatives, flannel stories, and crafts. Not only is it fun, it's an excellent way for parents to interact with their children while helping them to build early literacy skills which lay the foundation for preparing children to learn to read.
Regularly scheduled storytimes for children at the Fort Smith Public Library:

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and also the birthday of the author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl (September 13th). In celebration, all Fort Smith Public Library Locations will be hiding golden tickets in randomly selected audiovisual materials (audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs) during the month of September...check out an audiovisual item to find out if you are a winner! Golden tickets can then be redeemed for a scrumptious treat at the library's front desk. Come celebrate September and "check out" our library materials!
