Stop
by any Fort Smith Public Library location to enjoy books, videos, magazines,
computers, music, and special library programs of all kinds this summer!
Independent
Readers - (12 and under) earn prizes for each 5
books read, up to 25 books.
Listeners - preschool children too
young to read may also participate and will receive credit for the books read
to them.
*Small rewards such as book bags, magnifying glasses, race car
balloon racers, suction balls, paint sheets, food coupons, and the opportunity
to get their name in a book will be given to each child for reaching specific
goals.
Registration begins now and continues all summer!

The summer reading program is designed to encourage reading for
pleasure; it will help young people who are able to read independently retain
the valuable reading skills they developed over this past school year.
