I started reading this historical fiction series when I was a young girl because I found them very relatable. It was fascinating to read about the royal families and I learned about all the things they had to deal with and overcome as young women. These books showed me that no matter your family origin, we all go through and can conquer similar trials.
“England,
1544. In her diary entries, Princess Elizabeth, the eleven-year-old daughter of
King Henry VIII, celebrates holidays and birthdays, relives her mother's
execution, revels in her studies and agonizes over her father's death.”
*This
great book series is located in our Juvenile Fiction/Chapter Books Section under the
author’s last name, Lasky.
