Teen Tech Week: DIY Tech Craft for Teens

SPECIAL March 2015 program: Tuesday, March 10th @ 3-5 p.m.

Teens! Show off your crafty side using discarded computer parts and tech recyclables: make projects using provided materials or bring your own ideas and materials to share with the group. Bring a friend and help us celebrate Teen Tech Week at the Fort Smith Public Library.

SPECIAL March 2015 program: Saturday, March 12th @ 4-6 p.m.

Celebrate Teen Tech Week at the Windsor Branch Library with our Digital Resources Open House. Grab your phone or tablet and head to the library afterschool to find out how you can combine technology and free library digital resources. Learn how you can download music, magazines, and books for FREE with your library card using Freegal, Zinio, and Library2Go. Join us for refreshments and prizes at this program just for teens.

The mission of the Fort Smith Public Library is to serve the minds of the citizens in our community by providing easy access to resources that meet their informational and recreational needs.

LEGO Club at the Fort Smith Public Library is a free event for all ages held once a month. Watch the calendar for meeting days and times!

*Every month has a literary theme or challenge to build around, however anyone can choose to take the challenge or make whatever they wish from their imaginations.

Many LEGO Build Books and LEGO Character Books are available for check out!

No Registration Required . . .

The LEGO Creations do not go home, but photos are made available to print, keep and share!

Blind Date With A Book For Teens @ The Library!

Blind Date With a Book

SPECIAL February 2015 program: All February/All Open Hours

Teens (ages 13-17), are invited to stop by any Fort Smith Public Library location between February 1st and 28th to pick up your Blind Date with a Book. 

As your date will be dressed in paper wrapping, you won't know the genre, author or title of the book until you take it home and unwrap it. How did the date go? Was there a "Love Connection"? Would you two go out again? We want to hear all about it. 

Write a book review to tell us if you liked it and be entered into a prize drawing.
