November/December 2016 program

Help out local families in need by donating to this year's 

Fort Smith Public Library Holiday Food Drive. 

One in five people in our area are struggling, one in three rural Arkansas children live in food insecure homes. 

Drop off your non-perishable food items at any Fort Smith library location from November 1st - December 31st. 

Donations will be accepted all hours that the library is open; all food collected will be given to the 

Community Clearinghouse 

to help the hungry in the Fort Smith area.

Take A Look: Frogs in the Youth Services Department @ the Library!

Our names are Thing one and Thing Two.

We are Albino African Clawed Aquatic Frogs.

Ø We can stay under water for up to 2 hours.

Ø We eat a frozen Blood Worm cube every morning.

Ø We can move suddenly, but we are often still.

Ø We frighten easily, so please Do Not tap on our home.
