The UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts Academy Playerz will present a special preview of their production, School House Rock Live, JR., at the Main Library. Based on the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon, this energetic musical revue type show follows Tom who is a young school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV when various characters emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs such as Just a Bill, Conjunction Junction and many more bring his lessons plans vividly to life. Please arrive early to get a good seat!
