UAFS Academy of the Arts Academy Playerz present 
School House Rock Live, Jr.

SPECIAL April 2015 program: Wednesday, April 22nd @ 4:30p.m.

The UA Fort Smith Academy of the Arts Academy Playerz will present a special preview of their production, School House Rock Live, JR., at the Main Library. Based on the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon, this energetic musical revue type show follows Tom who is a young school teacher who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV when various characters emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs such as Just a BillConjunction Junction and many more bring his lessons plans vividly to life. Please arrive early to get a good seat!

The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) has partnered with Mercy Children's Services to bring the star of The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!to the Fort Smith Public Library. Families are invited to meet Cat at the Fort Smith Public Library.

*Visitors can enjoy photographs with the Cat, screenings of The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, storytime with Dr. Seuss books, face painting and more. Be sure to bring your camera to this FREE National Library Week event!
