Halloween Happenings @ Your Neighborhood Library!


BINGO for Books: Halloween Edition!
SPECIAL October 2015 program: Tuesday, Oct. 27th @ 6-7p.m.

Bring your family and join the fun in this special Halloween Edition of BINGO for Books! Play BINGO and earn books as your prize. Winners will be able to select a book from a selection of children's and teen titles.

Halloween Make and Take Craft @ Miller
SPECIAL October 2015 program: Friday, Oct. 30th @ 1-6 p.m.
Grab your broomsticks and fly to the Miller Branch Library for some holiday fun! Children can stop by to make a fun Halloween craft anytime between 1 and 6 p.m. Wear your costume if you like and be sure to Trick-or-Treat the front desk on your way out!

Library Halloween Open House @ Dallas
SPECIAL October 2015 program: Saturday, Oct. 31st @ Noon-5 p.m.

The Dallas Branch Library invites you and your family to drop by for some seasonal fun on Halloween afternoon.
Kids of all ages can participate in a Make & Take craft anytime between 1 and 2 p.m., a Spooky Storytime for kids with Halloween Costume Show & Tell will be held from 2-2:30 p.m., and Tim Burton's movie, Frankenweenie (PG) will be shown from 2:30-4 p.m., popcorn included!
Everyone is invited to wear their Halloween costumes; there will be trick or treating at the front desk from Noon-5:00p.m.

Coming up: Teen Read Week @ the Library! Make Travel Tags or dress up for a Scavenger Hunt . . .

Teen Read Week: Scavenger Hunt 
SPECIAL October 2015 program: 
Thursday, October 22nd @ 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Teens (12-17) are invited to Get Away @ Your Library for a night-time Library Scavenger Hunt in the Young Adult area at the Main Library. Pick up your first clue at the Youth Services desk. Prizes will be given to those who complete the hunt by following hidden clues. Teens are welcome to come dressed as a favorite author or character from any young adult novel. One night only; don't miss out!
